Galaxy Communications’ ESPN Syracuse debuted two shows on Monday, featuring Seth Everett and Paulie Scibilia, followed by Etan Thomas and Danny Schayes. The ESPN Syracuse lineup now broadcasts five shows with local programming from 10am – 6pm each weekday.
ESPN Syracuse’s new shows, each one hour long, fill the lineup’s 10am – noon timeslot, replacing a simulcast of The Dan Le Batard Show. Actor and second oldest of the four Baldwin brothers, Daniel previously hosted a local show from 10am – noon on ESPN Syracuse which ended last spring.
The Seth Everett Show with co-host and longtime station operations manager, Paulie Scibilia will broadcast each morning at 10am. Everett, a veteran sportscaster, MLB Insider and Syracuse graduate, joined the Galaxy owned radio station last year to host their Syracuse football and basketball postgame coverage. Everett’s long list of radio credentials includes hosting stops at Seattle’s KJR, ESPN New York, WFAN, Fox Sports and Westwood One, among others.
Joining the ESPN Syracuse weekday lineup, Everett will continue to host their postgame shows for Orange men’s basketball and football. Former Syracuse quarterback, Eric Dungey will join Everett for this season’s football postgame show.
The 11am hour on the ESPN Syracuse weekday lineup will air the newly launched local show, Centers of Attention. Hosted by two former Syracuse and NBA centers, Etan Thomas and Danny Schayes, the show will cover all SU sports, while offering the players perspective on a variety of topics and national stories.
“You’re going to get the players view, the players approach and a sophisticated view of the sports conversation that you just don’t get other places,” said Schayes at the top of Monday’s show.
Monday also launched another season of In the Booth, a weekday show hosted by Syracuse University men’s basketball and football play-by-play voice, Matt Park. The new ESPN Syracuse lineup features The Seth Everett Show from 10 – 11am, Centers of Attention until 12pm, Orange Nation from noon – 2pm, followed by In the Booth at 2pm and On the Block with Brent Axe at 4pm.
