MSG Networks announced an agreement with FanDuel for the bookmaker and daily fantasy platform to become the official sports gaming partner of their New York Knicks and New Jersey Devils broadcasts.
“We are excited to partner with FanDuel to bring our fans timely content and information that provides a deeper way to engage with our game coverage,” said Kevin Marotta, SVP, Marketing and Content Strategy, MSG Networks
The partnership will display integrations during game broadcasts, including halftime. Also featured will be branded content and ad space during MSG Networks’ Knicks and Devils broadcasts, as well as their pre- and post-game shows. For Devils’ telecasts only, updated betting odds will be displayed for viewers on the ticker during each intermission.
“Joining forces with MSG Networks allows us to further enhance the viewing and sports betting experience for fans, giving them a new way to watch sports,” said Mike Raffensperger, CMO, FanDuel. “By partnering with MSG Networks, we are leading the charge in how sports gaming operators integrate with broadcasting, ultimately transforming the experience for sports fans.”
The partnership with FanDuel also saw MSG Networks recently debut Inside the Lines, a five-minute show that focuses on the NBA betting landscape and airs before Knicks pre-game. For Devils’ broadcasts, a one-minute long NHL betting-focused show will air before their pre-game coverage titled, Line to Line.
In addition to their traditional TV network, the partnership will be featured on MSG Networks’ social channels and their on-demand video live streaming platform, MSG GO.
