Another Trump Tweet Tagged for Misinformation

White House Physician. Dr. Sean Conley said Trump met the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention criteria and is no longer considered a transmission risk.

Twitter is once again flagging a tweet from President Donald Trump after he claimed that he was immune to the coronavirus with no scientific evidence.

“A total and complete sign off from White House doctors yesterday,” Trump said. “That means I can’t get it (immune) and can’t give it. Very nice to know!!”

White House Physician. Dr. Sean Conley said Trump met the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention criteria and is no longer considered a transmission risk.

Twitter’s warning said Trump violated its ban on spreading misleading and potentially harmful information about the pandemic.

Trump was diagnosed with COVID-19 less than two weeks ago. Some medical experts are leery of his recovery. Trump was treated at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. He was released after three days of treatment.

President Trump posted the same message to his Facebook page. That platform is allowing it to remain for now, but it removed another false claim from the president last week.

Over the past few weeks, Joe Rogan has made headlines regarding episodes discussing the Covid-19 pandemic.

As a result, musician Neil Young wrote a letter to Rolling Stone wanting his music off Spotify, which carries “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast.

Young instructed his manager, Frank Gironda, and the chief operating officer of his record label, Warner Bros. Tom Corson, immediately pull his music off the streaming service.

“I am doing this because Spotify is spreading fake information about vaccines – potentially causing death to those who believe the disinformation being spread by them,” Young wrote. “Please act on this immediately today and keep me informed of the time schedule.”

“I want you to let Spotify know immediately TODAY that I want all my music off their platform. They can have [Joe] Rogan or Young. Not both.”

Recently, YouTube took down a video where Rogan talked with Dr. Robert Malone; also, those in the scientific community signed a petition to have Spotify put a misinformation label on Rogan’s podcast.

Spotify hasn’t replied to Young’s letter. Rogan has not yet commented either.
