The Kentucky Derby is days away, and the Horse Racing Radio Network (HRRN) announced in a press release their schedule leading up to the race next weekend from Churchill Downs in Louisville, KY.
HRRN’s coverage next week kicks off Tuesday with the first of three “Derby Countdown” shows hosted by Bobby Neuman and Jude Feld from the backside barn area at Churchill Downs. The two will welcome various guests such as owners, trainers, jockeys, handicappers, and the latest training updates on Oaks and Derby horses.
Shows will begin Tuesday at 8:00-10:00 a.m. ET on Sirius 216/XM 202 and will run through Thursday. Furthermore, there will be a live stream broadcast and podcast archives provided on the HRRN website.
Friday, HRRN is having a three-hour broadcast of “Run for the Lilies” from 3:00-6:00 p.m. ET, which can be heard on Sirius 219/XM 201. Then on Kentucky Derby race day, Equine Forum kicks off the coverage from 8-11 a.m. ET followed by live Kentucky Derby undercard coverage from 3-5 p.m. ET, both on Sirius 219/XM 201.
Kentucky Derby overage on HRRN ends with exclusive coverage of the 147th Kentucky Derby from 5:00-7:30 p.m. ET, presented in partnership with NBC Sports Audio Network, which airs on SiriusXM 211, and simulcast on Sirius 219/XM 201.
