JIMMY KIMMEL

California has announced that students attending school in person will be required to receive a COVID-19 vaccination once the FDA approves them for children younger than 11.

This news hasn’t sat well with some parents who have protested outside school board meetings regarding the state making the COVID-19 vaccination a requirement for their kids.

Some signs read “They are not your kids,” and another read “I won’t co-parent with the government.” So during his opening monologue on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” host Jimmy Kimmel decided to chime in the latest COVID news over these protests.

Kimmel wanted to remind those protesting that schools have always required vaccinations for kids to attend.

“We’ve been requiring kids to get vaccinations to go to school for 150 years,” Kimmel joked. Furthermore, the comedian went on to take a jab at the parents considering homeschooling their kids as a result of this requirement.

“If you’re not bright enough to understand that vaccines are safe, I’m gonna go out on a limb and say you’re not bright enough to teach them geometry either,” Kimmel said.

Anderson Cooper will anchor the 9 p.m. slot on Tuesday, the CNN spokesperson said.

Embattled CNN anchor Chris Cuomo has been suspended indefinitely Tuesday in the wake of documents released by The New York Attorney General’s office that point to his attempts to help his brother Andrew Cuomo cover-up allegations of sexual misconduct.

The evidence includes text messages between Chris Cuomo and Melissa DeRosa, a then-top aide to Gov. Andrew Cuomo.  The messages revealed that Cuomo was willing to use his sources to smear the reputations of the former governor’s accusers.

“When Chris admitted to us that he had offered advice to his brother’s staff, he broke our rules and we acknowledged that publicly,” the network said in a statement. “But we also appreciated the unique position he was in and understood his need to put family first and job second.”

Anderson Cooper will anchor the 9 p.m. slot on Tuesday, the CNN spokesperson said.

In August Cuomo publicly denied serving as an advisor to his brother. The network reportedly warned Cuomo to stop communicating with his brother’s aides.

According to Ballotpedia, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) resigned on August 24. He first announced his resignation on August 10, saying, “Given the circumstances, the best way I can help now is if I step aside and let the government get back to governing.

“I never attacked nor encouraged anyone to attack any woman who came forward. I never made calls to the press about my brother’s situation,” Cuomo said in August.

“The New York Attorney General’s office released transcripts and exhibits Monday that shed new light on Chris Cuomo’s involvement in his brother’s defense,” a CNN spokesperson said Tuesday evening. “The documents, which we were not privy to before their public release, raise serious questions.”

CNN host Chris Cuomo continues to find himself when it comes to his brother, former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, who resigned from the position following numerous allegations of sexual misconduct.

Records released Monday by the New York Attorney General’s office revealed that the CNN anchor was more involved in his brother’s situation.

The communication via emails and text where Cuomo asked Melissa DeRosa, the top aide to his brother, to assist the team in developing the former governor’s response to accusations of improper conduct made against him late last year.

“Please let me help with the prep,” Cuomo wrote to DeRosa in a text message on March 3. Then on March 7, DeRosa sent Cuomo a text stating, “Rumor going around from politico 1-2 more ppl coming out tomorrow.”

Cuomo didn’t discuss these documents released by New York’s attorney general showing how involved he was in advising his brother. However, a CNN spokesperson did provide comment on the matter as Deadline relayed the remarks.

“The thousands of pages of additional transcripts and exhibits that were released today by the NY Attorney General deserve a thorough review and consideration,” a spokesperson said.

“We will be having conversations and seeking additional clarity about their significance as they relate to CNN over the next several days.”

“The stupidity is remarkable,” Scarborough said.

The Omicron COVID-19 variant is the latest to mutate and make its way to various countries.

Nonetheless, as with the original virus and Delta variant, the Omicron has already become a political talking point despite recently surfacing in South Africa.

This past weekend, Republican Rep. Ronny Jackson tweeted out a conspiracy of a Democratic plot to “cheat” in the midterm elections.

“Here comes the MEV – the Midterm Election Variant!” Jackson tweeted

“They NEED a reason to push unsolicited nationwide mail-in ballots. Democrats will do anything to CHEAT during an election – but we’re not going to let them!”

MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough addressed these remarks made by Jackson on “Morning Joe.”

“The stupidity is remarkable,” Scarborough said. “I guess you have to lay the stupidity at the feet of the people who actually would believe the stupid lies because it’s all out there.”

Scarborough went on to question whether Jackson’s constituents could fall for these claims made by the politician. “It’s just absolute, complete stupidity,” the “Morning Joe” co-host would add.
