ESPN is bolstering its NFL Draft coverage with a fresh voice. Jordan Reid is joining the network as an analyst after previously working for The Draft Network.
Reid strengthens ESPN+’s on-demand NFL Draft content while offering his talents to shows across ESPN’s networks.
“Joining ESPN is a pinnacle moment for my career,” said Reid. “Growing up, I would watch the NFL Draft from start to finish, as the occasion fascinated me from a young age. Now, being able to provide fans stories and content surrounding the event throughout the year for ESPN brings me great excitement. I can’t wait to get started with the current team to provide the best draft coverage possible.”
Reid is traveling to college football games across the country to report on the top players on every evaluator’s draft board. He knows what it’s like as a college football player, having played quarterback at North Carolina Central University.
Reid suited up for the Eagles from 2010-13 and then immediately moved into a coaching role from 2014-18. The quarterback is still the all-time completion rate record holder at NCCU. He has been evaluating prospects with The Draft Network since 2019.
The draft analyst put the writing on the wall last week.
“This week was my last week at The Draft Network,” Reid said on Twitter. “The past two years have been amazing and I wanted to thank everyone there for taking a chance on me. I can’t announce where I’m headed next quite yet, but TDN created lifelong memories and friendships. I’m forever thankful.”
Fans will find Reid all over the ESPN airwaves once draft season hits. He will also write multiple analysis pieces on prospects throughout the year.
“I’m humbled, honored, and beyond thrilled to be joining the @ESPN family,” Reid Tweeted. “I can’t wait to get to started alongside an already stellar team to provide the best NFL Draft coverage possible moving forward.”
