Baltimore Orioles fans who listen to Audacy-owned 105.7 The Fan will get treated to a regular radio show focused on nothing but the O’s beginning this season.
Baltimore Baseball Tonight will debut on April 7 at 6 p.m. ET. Bob Haynie will host alongside analysts Bill Ripken, Mike Bordick, and Jim Duquette, with reporter Cordell Woodland. The show will help preview that night’s contest and break down the latest Orioles news and notes.
On game days when the Orioles play at home at Camden Yards, the show will broadcast live from Pickles Pub across the street from the ballpark.
“Baltimore Baseball Tonight will give fans an in-depth preview of the Baltimore professional baseball team throughout the season and bring them closer to the game than ever before,” said Tracy Brandys, Audacy Baltimore Senior Vice President and Market Manager.
“We’re also extremely excited to get back out with the fans at Pickles Pub and share our collective passion for the team alongside Bob, Bill, Mike, Jim and Cordell – five individuals who have decades of insight on the team.”
Haynie has been co-hosting mid-days on The Fan since 2016. He previously hosted Orioles Baseball Tonight alongside Ross Grimsley and Joe Orsulak from 2012 through 20.
Ripken and Bordick are well-known former Orioles. Ripken is the brother of Hall of Famer and O’s legend Cal Ripken Jr. He played seven seasons in Baltimore, while Bordick spent six years with the O’s. Duquette is the team’s former VP of baseball operations. And Woodland returns to 105.7 The Fan as Orioles beat reporter after previously working as a producer for the station.
Baltimore Baseball Tonight will be available on 105.7 The Fan (WJZ-FM), the Audacy app and website, and fans will be able to interact with the show through 105.7 The Fan’s social media platforms.
