Warner/Discovery(Whatever the new company is called) should have jumped on this. They could put the matches on TNT in the US. They are about the only major media company with out a contract with the PGA that has networks and space to air this. It could have been on HBO max full coverage every hole and have an on air package for 3hr each round on TNT. ESPN has the PGA Tour live on ESPN+ CBS has the network coverage of the tour that they split with NBC. NBC also has exclusive cable coverage of the tour on GOLF. FOX has too many other sports in the spring summer and fall to make this fit (MLB, USFL, horse racing, International Soccer, NASCAR and NHRA plus NFL, and College Football in the fall. another option would have been Amazon but I think that was not a realistic option the last option would have been Sinclair who could have placed it on Stadium but the focus for Sinclair is to play up Bally’s Networks not to pay for right on Stadium.
