MSNBC Morning Joe anchor Joe Scarborough tore into what he called “weak” people afraid of “fascists” after the FBI raided former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort.

Scarborough said “They’re saying ugly things on Fox News. What do you expect? This guy is going to be brought to justice. He’s broken the law. Everybody knows that. So why are they freaking out?

“I don’t come from the Obi-Wan Kenobi school of political theory. Strike Trump down and he only becomes stronger. No, I don’t believe — he breaks the law. You go to jail. Let me say it again: In America, and our former Republican brothers and sisters need to understand this. In America, even in the age of Trump, no man is above the law.”

Scarborough previously said those angry about the raid were acting as if their “hair was on fire” before ripping Trump supporters in the media.

“The people that helped Donald Trump on January 6th, the people that were talking about coming to D.C., that it was going to be crazy, that it was going to what was going to be wild, they weren’t going to change because they’re fascists,” Scarborough said. “And so they’re making fascist threats. And we need to do what the United States has always done. We need to confront fascism and defeat it.

“So everybody that’s freaking out over fascists being fascists. Well, guess what? That’s what fascists do! That’s why we have law enforcement, to actually bring fascists to justice. So please don’t run around with your hair on fire and say, “Oh, my God, we can’t actually enforce the laws of our land. We can’t actually protect classified documents because fascists may get upset on a TV show!”

Don Lemon: No One Has Been More Sensitive or Touchy Than Elon Musk

“For someone who doesn’t care about what people write or say about him, he sure does care about what people write or say about him.”

Don Lemon is shining a light on his interaction with Elon Musk that led to the cancellation of his digital video program for the Musk-owned X social media platform.

Last week, Lemon revealed that Musk would be the first guest on his new program. However, he later shared that Musk canceled the contract for the show after the interview. The billionaire claimed Lemon was being controlled by former CNN CEO Jeff Zucker in a subsequent post to the platform.

In an interview with People magazine on Sunday, Lemon shared his side of the story.

“I went into this with my eyes open. I’ve interviewed many world leaders, presidents to convicts, and no one has been more sensitive or touchy than Elon Musk,” Lemon said. “And during the interview and during other interviews, he constantly says he doesn’t care what people write or say about him. For someone who doesn’t care about what people write or say about him, he sure does care about what people write or say about him.”

Don Lemon continued by sharing his hypothesis that Musk simply isn’t used to being held accountable for his words or actions.

“He’s not used to having to answer to anyone, especially someone like me who doesn’t share his worldview, who doesn’t look like him. You know what I’m saying? When I questioned him about things that he put out on social media, posted or tweeted, that weren’t factual, it was very uncomfortable for him,” Lemon revealed. “To the point where [he and his team] wanted to see the interview before it aired. Which was a big capital N no.”

Earlier this week, Don Lemon revealed his contract for a digital video show on the X platform was canceled by Elon Musk. Musk defended the decision but says the deal could still be a lucrative one for the former CNN host.

After it was reported that Lemon would still be publishing episodes of The Don Lemon Show to the social media platform, Musk quipped that the former CNN host would still be entitled to advertising revenue generated from the program airing on X.

“Even though I think Don (Lemon) is a pompous fool who spouts nonsense, he is still free to upload his show to X and will receive advertising revenue,” Musk wrote in a post to X.

Musk reportedly decided to end the contract with Lemon — which he reportedly failed to sign — after a tense interview for the debut episode of the program.

In a snippet shared with CNN, Don Lemon is seen asking Musk questions about his financial support of Donald Trump, and also about the billionaire’s alleged drug usage.
