The team moved its TV broadcasts to a local over-the-air station after Bally Sports Arizona canceled its deal.
"We sincerely thank you for your loyal viewership over the years", the statement concluded.
In addition to being broadcast in Phoenix, Scripps Sports stations in Tucson and Salt Lake City will also air Coyotes games.
“The Arizona Coyotes remain under contract with Bally Sports Arizona and remain hopeful that the network will continue to broadcast our games this season."
“The most important part here was to make sure that there was no interruption in television [and] our fans could always get the games,”
"Now, this deal gives more than 2.8 million homes across Arizona access to Suns and Mercury games for free."
Major League Baseball could assume the local broadcasts for the Arizona Diamondbacks from Bally Sports Arizona should the deal not be completed.
"The company owes the team a rights payment on July 1."
Going back to the past suddenly looks like the future for professional sports teams.
"Diamond Sports Group will pursue all remedies against any parties that attempt to exercise control over our property interests while we reorganize."
