There is major pushback against Fox News coming from viewers across the country after the network called Arizona for Joe Biden on election night. Anchor Brett Baier is also under fire for deleting a tweet that was solely intended to promote an upcoming show.

“Join me + @marthamaccallum tonight 8pmET on @FoxNews,” Baier said. That tweet was followed by tons of negative comments mostly from people who claim to have lost faith in the network. “Nope – done with Fox,” read one tweet. “I’d rather get another vasectomy without anesthesia sir,” said another person.

Fox News is facing stiff competition from Newsmax and One America News Network (OAN), however the two things that those networks do not have are Sean Hannity and Tucker Carlson. Those shows outranked every network from 8 to 11 p.m. from June to July.“Fox’s ratings will likely remain high until the presidential election is resolved, but I am truly interested to see what happens after,” said a viewer on Twitter.

After 30 years at CNN, Washington Bureau Chief Sam Feist is departing the network to become the CEO of C-SPAN.

Feist will be just the third CEO in the network’s nearly 50-year history. He’ll succeed co-CEOs Rob Kennedy and Susan Swain, who have held the role since 2012.

“Our democracy needs C-SPAN now more than ever,” said Feist. “I look forward to working with C-SPAN’s extraordinary and dedicated team to expand the network’s reach and meet new audiences where they are. C-SPAN is an American treasure and I could not be more excited to lead this essential institution.”

Feist rose to the role of Washington bureau chief at CNN in 2011, and will stay in the role until the end of June, before shifting to his new duties at C-SPAN.

“Out of a small group of excellent finalists, Sam Feist stood out for his deep respect for C-SPAN, his leadership skills, his knowledge of Washington, and his digital transformation bona fides. We are confident that we are leaving C-SPAN in good hands,” Kennedy and Swain said in a joint statement.

Chris Cuomo: The Daily Wire Stopped Potential Candace Owens vs Ben Shapiro Debate Out of Fear

“The company decided we lose if he goes toe toe-to-toe with Candace Owens. So shut her up and they have the right to do it because of the contract.”

Last month, a social media spat between The Daily Wire co-founders Ben Shapiro and Jeremy Boreing against former employee Candace Owens led to a debate challenge. It hasn’t happened, and NewsNation anchor Chris Cuomo feels like he knows why.

While appearing in a podcast interview with Patrick Bet-David, Cuomo argued that The Daily Wire doesn’t want Shapiro to debate against Owens because the company is fearful he will lose.

“The Daily Wire doesn’t believe that Shapiro wins the debate with Candace Owens,” Cuomo said.

“You think they believe that?,” the podcast host asked.

“One hundred percent, otherwise there’s no reason to do it. If this is working for you, you let it go, right? … That’s what Ben Shapiro has been saying. Everybody’s going to understand that Candace Owens has positions that are not just incorrect, but morally wrong in a way that Ben Shapiro says matters,” Chris Cuomo retorted. “He’s not just another corporate guy. It’s not just another company now, but in fact, it is just another company. And the company decided we lose if he goes toe toe-to-toe with Candace Owens. So shut her up and they have the right to do it because of the contract.”

The conversation stemmed from a recent suggestion from Glenn Greenwald that The Daily Wire utilized a clause in Owens’ used an arbitrator to secure a gag order against her, preventing a debate.
